Provide HR Support to Fed Ex office locations within Southern California.•Front line support for team members and store managers on employee relations challenges, responsible/manage workplace investigations.•Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries•Promote and manage local implementation of corporate driven HR programs and initiatives•Respond to third party action (EEOC, Department of Labor) on team members complaints, team members relations issues and represent the company on unemployment claims•Serve as subject matter expert and resource on HR policies and practices, state and federal employment laws and company Human Resources Standard Operating Procedures•Partner with district managers to address talent and bench planning for individual development plans, diversity and Affirmative Action Plans, training and development•Utilize HR metrics to support business objectives•Conduct presentations and facilitate training on HR related topics•Coach and educate Store Managers on proper use of performance management and the positive discipline process
