ABOUT CHRISTINE GERVAIS
I have a demonstrated history of working in the aviation industry with a career spanning over 25 years ranging from commercial pilot, air traffic controller and executive management. I successfully lead the overall operations and resources of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association, Canada\'s largest aviation association and am proud to say I was the first woman to do so since it’s inception in 1952. As the CEO, I was responsible for the strategic decisions that directed the association\'s overall growth. My responsibilities included leading the ideation, planning, and implementation of new and long-term business strategies; managing the company’s assets and liabilities; serving as the figurative head of the organization as well as setting strategic goals.I am currently back in the operational role of air traffic controller and am enjoying my much deserved down time with family, friends and flying my beloved C172! Enjoy life, it’s too short not too.
