   Christine is a member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Washington National Tax Services Tax Controversy and Regulatory Services (\"TCRS\") team. The TCRS team represents clients before the IRS, including in matters such as voluntary disclosures, examination issues, and penalty abatement requests. Christine\'s primary focus is on global information reporting. Within this focus, Christine regularly assists clients with information reporting and withholding matters, including Chapter 3 (Forms 1042/1042-S), Chapter 61 (Forms 1099 and backup withholding), Form 8937 (“Report of Organizational Actions Affecting Basis of Securities”), Form 8938 (“Statement of Specified Foreign Financial Assets”), Qualified Intermediaries, Withholding Foreign Partnerships and FBAR compliance. Christine joined PwC in September 2009 after graduating from law school. She began her career at PwC with the Federal Tax Services team before transferring to the federal employment tax group within TCRS in December 2010. Christine specialized in federal employment taxes for several years before switching exclusively to global information reporting. Prior to law school, Christine worked for three years as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a regional accounting firm in Columbia, SC. Christine earned a BS and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina and a JD from the Antonin Scalia Law School.
