I’m a seasoned leader and educator with nearly two decades of experience developing people, building teams, and creating environments where others can thrive. After 18 years in collegiate athletics — where I led and mentored student-athletes as a head women’s basketball coach — I’ve transitioned my passion for leadership, learning, and connection into community and organizational development.I currently serve as a Program Coordinator with the Rockbridge Area Recreation Organization (RARO), where I help design and implement programs that inspire confidence, teamwork, and belonging through sport and recreation. I’m also the founder of RiseKind Leadership, an initiative dedicated to helping coaches, educators, and community leaders lead with empathy, authenticity, and courage.Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by the belief that leadership starts with self-awareness and grows through connection. I’m a proud graduate of the NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy (2015) and NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy 2.0 (2023), and I continue to mentor women through WeCoach, the WBCA, and the Smith ESS Graduate Program.I’m passionate about empowering women, building inclusive communities, and using sport and leadership as vehicles for growth and impact.
