   Christina Slattery serves as the Business Unit Leader and project manager for Mead & Hunt’s historic preservation projects nationwide. She specializes in the shakhistory of technology, American architecture and landscape architecture. Her experience over the past 18 years includes historic context development, surveys, National Register Nominations, Determinations of Eligibility, management plans and HABS/HAER Documentation. She routinely applies the National Register criteria to evaluate the significance of structures, buildings and sites. Her project responsibilities include supervising field surveys and guiding research, photographic documentation, context development and report preparation.My goals are to- Bring consistency to the application of the National Register criteria for evaluation - Work closely with project sponsors to identify solutions that accommodate both preservation and development needs - Use innovative methods when they can improve or accelerate a project result - Eliminate redundant reviews by federal and state agencies - Identify alternative, streamlined methods (such as Programmatic Agreements) to conduct compliance for standard projects with predictable effects - Help the public understand and participate in the Section 106 process
