MilliporeSigma is a Gene Therapy Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with a track record of over twenty years in developing and manufacturing viral vectors and vaccines. Our responsibilities take us through each step of a client’s journey towards treating patients and ultimately a commercial product. As the Head of Supply Chain, I guide teams responsible for all aspects of Supply Chain including sourcing and procurement, production planning, GMP warehousing, logistics, and the MRP system. This includes driving appropriate analyses, providing strategic and tactical direction, and working with stakeholders to successfully enable on-time production of both new and ongoing client projects. My role is responsible for tracking KPIs including capacity utilization and on-time production, and for driving continuous improvements to internal processes and the client experience. As a member of the site leadership team, I help drive strategic direction to develop and implement site plans, projects, and global initiatives.
