ABOUT CHRISTINA M. CARROLL

From pesky subpoenas to bet-the-business litigation, I handle disputes so my clients can focus on what they do best - handling business. I’m a complex commercial litigator with trial experience, primarily in contract and business tort disputes in both state and federal courts across the country. I\'ve also resolved labor and employment disputes for public companies, as well as trust and estate conflicts for individuals and family offices.I use my prior experience at a commercial litigation trial boutique as the lens through which to assess cases before suit, to pursue early dismissal or other resolution, and all the way through appeal. My trial background gives me a unique perspective for working up cases - and often with the goal of avoiding trial. Yes, sometimes my job is to work myself out of a job! I also employ a number of litigation management tools and technology to streamline cases, maintain historical knowledge, and reduce overall legal spend. My clients are involved in a variety of industry sectors, including banking, advertising, health care, oil and gas, real estate (including commercial brokerage and construction), professional and consumer imaging.Representative Cases- Represented advertising client against claims for breach of contract and business torts in three-year dispute across multiple federal and state districts, including bankruptcy court- Represented public company against claims of discrimination and retaliation- Represented company in claim against former C-Suite executives for theft of trade secret and breach of fiduciary duty jury trial- Represented oil and gas client in three-week jury trial involving breach of fiduciary duty by an attorney- Represented lawyer against claims of defamation and RICO violations- Represented private equity oil and gas company in remote arbitration over books and records dispute- Represented individual service provider in an Anti-SLAPP motion to dismiss her defamation claim against former clients - Represented private company against claims for jury retaliation- Represented health services provider after former partners sued in breach of a post-partnership agreement and covenant not to sue- Represented national brokerage firm against claim for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty
