ABOUT CHRISTINA L. GREEN

Christina Green is an Associate Professor of Management at Mount St. Mary\'s University, where she teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in management and leadership. Prior to joining the Mount, she served as an adjunct instructor for four years at Penn State University, Mont Alto campus and World Campus, teaching courses in management and business administration. Christina conducted doctoral research for her dissertation, “Leadership Journeys of Women in the Pennsylvania Banking Industry: A Qualitative Study Exploring Women’s Perceived Barriers and Opportunities to Advancement in Bank Leadership.” In June 2015, she presented on the topic of advancing women in leadership at the International Leadership Association’s Women & Leadership Affinity Group Conference in Pacific Grove, California. Her additional research interests include leading across generations, coaching for performance improvement and employee engagement, and coaching, training and development for strategic planning. Christina spent 12 years in the banking industry, fulfilling roles in customer service, management, and training and development. Most recently, she served as F&M Trust’s first Talent Development Manager, in which she managed all training initiatives, facilitated a variety of training programs, coached employees for development and performance improvement, and collaborated with the Bank’s President/CEO and Senior Management in strategic planning action plans and succession planning development initiatives for high potential employees. In addition to teaching and research, Christina provides training in management, leadership, emotional intelligence, and coaching as an organizational development consultant. She is a Consulting Partner with Vide Consulting Group.
