ABOUT CHRISTINA GRANAHAN
As a social worker and coach, every single question I ask is in service of the client\'s agenda - moving them forward into action while building their awareness around what motivates them, what holds them back, and what choices they make in their perceptions and assumptions about the people and situations around them. I use the Enneagram to do this work because it is the most efficient, accurate framework for bringing consciousness to unconscious behavior. By illuminating and objectifying aspects of our lives, we are better able to bring change and choice to them. The Enneagram shines a light on the personality and all the habits therein, to allow you to work with them. In leadership and management, people come to me who are looking for skills around providing feedback - either in the day to day or in performance reviews - as well as how to manage up, how to increase skills around lateral leadership, as well as how to integrate staff raised in the digital age with those more seasoned staff, who might not understand this new demographic in their organizations. By merging my skills as a clinician with my coaching skills, I am better able to support staff in looking at how the personal and professional are related, how to create an integrated life between the two, and how to support direct reports to do the same. I am well-equipped to support management who are looking to get the most from their staff in under-resourced organizations where continued funding is not a guarantee and the work is often emotionally and physically exhausting. My work history includes work in the medical, educational and non-profit world, in both direct service and management. What I love to do now is to use the material from your life and the Enneagram as a way to explore different aspects of your personality, both conscious and unconscious, in ways that give you more choice, purpose, and freedom. I work 1:1, in groups, and do staff training around myriad topics, as well as work via Zoom when called for.
