DuPont, Peabody, Murrow & Emmy-Award winning Executive Producer for live television and news programming for NBC, MSNBC, CNN & NewsNation. For 25+ years, I have worked alongside top news talent including Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Stephanie Ruhle, Ali Velshi, Don Lemon and currently Ashleigh Banfield. I have also played a major role in developing various news programming strategies for a 24-hour news channel. I ran a newsroom of 100 people in Austin, TX for the legacy station KVUE, an ABC affiliate. I started on the local level in Nashville, Orlando & Little Rock leading to a total of 25 years in the news business. My passion is news. I have assisted in designing the programming grid for live news, developed and managed content concepts for programming, and determined specific editorial topics of focus for differing time slots in a highly competitive top-20 market. I have extensive experience in program development and video design. Among my awards: a DuPont for Uvalde School Shooting, the Peabody Award for my work on the Gulf Oil Spill and an Emmy for CNN breaking news coverage of the Arab Spring. I have produced live coverage of quick beat breaking news stories around the world ranging from terror attacks, wars, natural disasters, state funerals, and large coverage of international cultural events including the British royal wedding. I have overseen and assisted with content strategy and coverage of every United States presidential election from 1996 to 2024.
