My role is to provide legal advice and support to the trading teams and other business functions as necessary. I assist a small legal team in establishing and maintaining the proper legal policy, framework and guidelines to mitigate legal risk and conduct the review for relevant contracts and agreements within the timeline of execution required by the business functions to meet commercial targets.I work directly with commercial teams to assist in the review and negotiation of: UK and European energy commodity trading agreements such as GTMA, NBP, EFET (Gas and Electricity), ISDA; agreements for the sale and purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (ROCs and REGOs) and Guarantees of Origin (GoOs); Non-Disclosure Agreements and Novation Agreements.
