   Use my knowledge, experience and ability to interpret Washington’s worker’s compensation laws to manage a caseload of worker’s compensation claims. Regularly work a caseload of around 200 – 350 claims depending on the amount of incoming claims and the caseload distribution. We are an employer-based unit specialized in managing claims for the top 100 highest premium paying employers in the State of Washington. As part of the management process I review, evaluate and adjudicate requests for benefits in accordance with the Revised Code of Washington, Washington Administrative Code, case law, and other governing regulations. A large part of this position involves the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a diverse clientele. We help keep Washington safe and working by providing good customer service and being proactive in the claims management process. This allows workers to receive the treatment they need timely and be able to return to work expeditiously and safely. As one of the more experienced adjudicators in the unit I regularly coach and mentor other adjudicators in the claims management process. Serve on the department\'s Evac Team. The Evac Team meets regularly to train on safe evacuations during emergency situations (earthquakes, active shooter, fire, etc). We put this training into action during actual emergencies.
