As General Counsel, I advise and counsel our executive leadership team and senior leadership regarding business operations, compliance, contracts, and risk management. I also work across the organization to identify, assess, and reduce legal and business risks. In this role a number of our wonderful pro bono partners support me as outside counsel.As Pro Bono Director, I cultivate and lead volunteer involvement programs to support AJSOCAL\'s work, including developing opportunities for pro bono attorneys and non-attorney volunteers to expand the reach of the organization’s work and service to the AAPI community. I also focus on strengthening relationships between AJSOCAL and key pro bono stakeholders like law firms, corporations, bar associations, and law schools. I am a past President of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County, and a past Co-Chair of its Public Appointments and Judicial Endorsements committee. I am also a member of the Pro Bono Coordinating Committee for the California Commission on Access to Justice. I graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Law, and received my undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. I speak Mandarin.
