learned the basics of user centered design from scratch • designed 2 applications following user-centered design process: a mobile app to assist with foreign language vocabulary learning and a health care webapp to help people with mental problems to establish healthy routines and benefit from a therapist offer • prepared and conducted user research methods such as interviews, competitive analysis and surveys • created personas, user journeys and key user flows using the insights gained from the research results • ideated information architecture using sitemaps and card sorting • designed low to high fidelity wireframes in Adobe XD and Figma • conducted usability testing of the clickable prototypes • organized and analyzed testing results using affinity mapping and rainbow spreadsheets • iterating after analysis of test results and preference tests • defined UI style guides with a design language context • created moodboards and high resolution mockups

I am a UX/UI designer with 18 years of professional experience in communication design - both as a freelance designer and in permanent employment in marketing departments and advertising agencies. From designing a variable grid for job ads that meets the needs of management and HR alike, to designing a branded children‘s book to improve customer engagement, I‘ve managed a variety of different design projects. My main goal has always been the structured communication of content and the improvement of the visual appearance. Due to my interest in social developments and technology I recently made a career change by entering the world of UX. What I like about my new role as a certified user experience designer is the change of perspective that underlies the user-centered approach and strengthens my analytical skills.
