About Christina Seitz
WHAT I BELIEVE IN: Being genuine. Safety first. Team building. Leading by example. HOW DID I GET HERE:December 2008-graduated college during the recession. May 2009- obtained a Class A CDL, transported freight across 48 contiguous States.2010-Secured a position in my area of study, eventually working my way in to case management, cultivating people-skills by coaching at-risk populations.2015-Transitioned back in to logistics, working in operations, where I was able to apply my people skills and hands-on experience as a driver to others working in the industry. Since then I have branched out in to management, sharing knowledge I have learned along the way. WHAT ARE MY KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:Trained in AS400. Procured terminal locations in Indianapolis for two companies. Solid vendor relationships.Maintains industry network. Managed staff, drivers, maintenance, safety and security. WHAT DO I ENJOY MOST ABOUT LOGISTICS:I recognize the sacrifices made by these road warriors. I know first-hand the dangers of the job and the importance of proper inspections, vehicle maintenance, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Ultimately, I am an individual that enjoys helping others and to see them succeed. I like being the dependable person that a driver feels welcome to contact for advice on how to scale their trailer, help with directions or just to allow them to vent. I once had a driver call me, frustrated and frantic. By the end of the call he said to me “You made me laugh, that’s the first time I have laughed in a week.”Laughter really is the best medicine and we never know when a kind ear and a smile will make all the difference in the world or at least it will make a world of difference for one.
