About Christina N. Alarcón
As a scientist, pathologist, and nonclinical drug safety representative, I work to characterize and de-risk the safety profile of drug candidates before they enter clinical trials to treat human diseases. I thrive in collaborative research environments and have experience with multiple modalities, therapeutic areas, IND submissions, spontaneous disease, and model development. I am board-certified, and have experience both as a program pathologist and a toxicology project representative. I enjoy scientific writing/editing and especially love teaching, training, mentoring, and outreach opportunities. My strengths include rapid problem-solving, clearly explaining complex concepts, and finding creative ways to engage communities or stakeholders.
