Administrator in charge of daily operations for international high school students training as Olympic hopefuls. My primary goal is to support student growth and success in all academic areas, focusing on writing, reading, and research skills. Responsibilities include designing curriculum, coordinating staff, assigning schedules, interviewing candidates, assessing language readiness, maintaining communication between academic and athletic communities, and other administrative tasks. Current teaching duties include an introduction to American literature, basic skills coursework for English language learners and advanced writing and research instruction for recent high school graduates.Previously taught 11th and 12th grade language and composition to gifted and twice-exceptional adolescents. Specific projects include expository writing, research papers, and creative writing portfolios.
