ABOUT CHRISTINA JONES

I’ve dedicated my career to youth development and nonprofit leadership, creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and thrive. As the Chief Operating Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County, I oversee programs across two clubhouses and 10 school-based sites, ensuring youth have access to engaging, high-quality experiences that support their academic, social, and personal development.With 25 years of experience leading programs, staff, and strategic initiatives, I specialize in: Curriculum Design & Training Facilitation – Developing hands-on, engaging programs and training youth development professionals and leaders. Program Strategy & Operations – Overseeing a portion of our $6.5M budget to ensure impactful, sustainable programs. Grant Reporting & Compliance – Writing and completing grant reports to track program success and meet funder expectations. Building Strong Teams – Leading strategy meetings to support staff, improve programs, and foster collaboration. Trauma-Informed & Inclusive Practices – Ensuring programs create safe, welcoming spaces where all youth can thrive.Beyond my work at BGC, giving back is a huge part of who I am. I proudly serve as: Vice Board Chair & Program Committee Chair of Trenton Circus Squad, helping expand creative youth programming. Board Member & Mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County, where I serve as a Big Sister and help create meaningful mentorship experiences.But out of all the roles I hold, the one I cherish most is being an aunt. It’s my absolute favorite title, and nothing brings me more joy than spending time with my youngest nephew. Whether we’re trying crazy foods, crafting, or just hanging out, those moments mean everything to me.At the core of everything I do is a commitment to helping young people and those who support them thrive.
