ABOUT CHRISTINA GORDON
With over 30 years of work experience in various sectors, I have developed core competencies in leadership, finance, education, and social impact. My mission is to economically empower women and girls across Massachusetts through strategic partnerships and innovative programs. As the CEO of Women\'s Foundation of Boston, I lead a dynamic and diverse team that shares my vision and values of creating a more equitable and economically strong community.In my current role as CEO, I oversee the foundation\'s fundraising, operations, grantmaking, staffing and communications. I work closely with our board, advisors, donors, and nonprofit partners to identify and support high-impact initiatives that address the needs and opportunities of women and girls. I also leverage my financial and analytical skills to manage and grow the foundation\'s endowment, ensuring its long-term sustainability and impact. Some of my recent achievements include launching a COVID-19 relief fund, securing a large corporate sponsorships, and expanding our network of supporters and allies and creating an endowment so WFBoston is a long term sustainable Greater Boston institution well into the future.
