The Fulbright Specialist Program pairs highly qualified U.S. academics and professionals with host institutions abroad to share their expertise, strengthen institutional linkages, hone their skills, gain international experience, and learn about other cultures while building capacity at their overseas host institutions.I am so thrilled to be awarded a place on the Specialist Roster!My professional practice focuses on developing community-centered experiences and exhibitions that foster engagement in public and private spaces. Combining an informal education background with physical and multimedia design, my skill set helps gather and combine community input with research into experiential methodologies to help institutions of all sizes connect more meaningfully with the audiences they serve. The underpinning goal of this work is to democratize museums and public spaces by bringing transformative cultural assets such as public parks, artworks, and historic resources to a broader audience. I work with cultural and private partners to make their resources accessible, usable, fun and most importantly, impactful.
