I have maintained a leadership role in ethics and compliance for over twelve years in a highly regulated industry. Over the years, I have come to recognize that a successful compliance program (as well as career) must not only effectively identify, monitor and mitigate risk but must also be built upon strong relationships that foster a collaborative and transparent compliance culture. My objective is to guide and support senior executives and management in maintaining the Company’s commitment to high ethical standards and full compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and all regulatory requirements. My experience includes design and development of a strong compliance framework for existing and new laws, regulations and corporate policies, high level leadership in investigations, incidents and corrective actions and monitoring and development of code of conduct training. I am responsible for reinforcing the Company’s ethical culture by hosting training, presentations and discussions with employees, managers, officers and third parties. I must maintain a strong understanding of and be able to apply the Federal Sentencing Guidelines (FSG) and the principles of the COSO management system, which are the basis of our Company’s compliance oversight process. I maintain a leadership role in our overall compliance governance processes to ensure accurate assessment and consistency of compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and corporate policies. I routinely provide reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors on new risks and requirements, trends and gaps within our program. I am responsible for the implementation of a technology solution to improve the efficiency and transparency of compliance processes. I am responsible for the development and management of a corporate investigations process to address employee misconduct.
