ABOUT CHRISTINA DUONG

Christina Duong is the Associate Director, Grid Integration at Cypress Creek Renewables focused on projects located in the ISO-NE, MISO, NYISO and PJM areas.Previously, Christina was the Interconnection Manager at Vineyard Offshore, ensuring Vineyard Mid-Atlantic project queue positions in the NYISO interconnection process during the FERC Order No. 2023 compliance filing and Transitional Cluster Study.Prior to joining Vineyard Offshore, Christina led the Capacity Accreditation team at the NYISO. The team administers the Capacity Accreditation process to ensure accurate Capacity Accreditation Factors are calculated for appropriately determined Capacity Accreditation Resource Classes. The Capacity Accreditation team is also responsible for developing inputs to the ICAP Market and Resource Adequacy modeling as it relates to generator performance. Christina was also a Senior Capacity Market Operations Specialist as a technical expert that supported Market Operations in the coordination and analysis of process changes in both the Capacity Market and Resource Adequacy subject areas.Prior to rejoining NYISO, Christina was the subject matter expert for power market advisory at UL Solutions. She specialized in the utility-scale renewables industry and provided insights on market rules and opportunities for projects across various ISO/RTO regions. She supported a range of projects for independent power producers, developers, financial institutions and utilities.Prior to joining UL, Christina worked on the market monitoring and design teams at New York Independent System Operator. Christina evaluated new projects entering the bulk electric market as well as existing resources that noticed market exit. She led efforts for market rule reform in mitigation and market participation, specifically for renewables and hybrid resources. Christina has bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and environmental engineering from Clarkson University.
