Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging play patterns and competitor products.•Continuously monitor toy, craft and lifestyle trends, colors, materials and consumer preferences. •Develop and execute compelling merchandising strategies that support seasonal launches and product lines. •Customize assortments and packaging based on retailer needs and shelf space constraints. •Own the end-to-end development process: from concept, cost analysis, sampling, testing and approvals to production. •Maintain internal systems with up-to-date product data, costing sheets and spec sheets.•Track timelines and ensure adherence to critical path milestones for product launches.
