About Christina Blanch
I am involved in the interdisciplinary social science based study of education. I have taught in higher education for over 10 years, I received my doctorate in Educational Studies, have taught in correctional education classes, face to face classes, online classes, and a MOOC with over students. My objectives are to find a job where I can teach and research using new forms of pedagogy. I also write comic books such as The Damnation of Charlie Wormwood, Tales from the Crypt, Aw Yeah Comics, and Monster Dojo. Additionally, I own Aw Yeah Comics in Muncie, Indiana and moderate panels at comic conventions all over the country. I serve on the board of the newly established Comic Studies Society (CSS) as Member-At-Large. My dissertation topic was Searching for the Comic Book Scholar and obtained my Doctorate in February, 2017.
