ABOUT CHRISTINA BERRY
Christina M. Berry is a senior planning and real estate development advisor with NEOO Partners focusing on placed-based strategies for master planned developments, neighborhood and commercial revitalization plans and community engagement. Christina also specializes in consulting and assisting developers from early stage conceptualization, financial modeling to securing funding. Particularly, she provides real estate advisory services for a variety of projects including new construction, adaptive reuse, and multi family. Christina is also the Founder and Chief Tea Officer of ‘Sippsi Good Tea- a southern inspired flavored loose leaf and ready to drink tea company that celebrates the good people, places and things in the south. ‘Sippsi can be found in specialty retailers across the south, online, and at various pop up events and festivals. Previously, Christina was the Director of City Planning and Community Development at the City of Columbus, MS. Christina later joined Jackson State University, as the Director for University-Based Development. She led a team focused on neighborhood revitalization, historic preservation, business development and community engagement. While there she also served as the Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer and was instrumental in building collaborations between the university and its corporate and foundation partners to support strategic development goals. During her time in this position she helped raised nearly $15 million in private gifts to the university. Christina specializes in brownfield revitalization, commercial district redevelopment, small town plans and multimodal transportation planning. Her goal is to increase the economic status and quality of life for the community.
