Nurse leader with 25+ years of experience. My career started in the hospital acute care setting. After 15 years of direct patient care and leadership in the hospital, I decided to work in hospice, eventually transitioning to palliative care. I found I was passionate about hospice and palliative medicine. The holistic approach this specialty medicine provides patients and families is like no other. We have the time to listen, advocate, and relieve suffering for a patient with serious illness. This suffering could be physical, emotional, or spiritual. I am excited to be leading an exceptional palliative care team at Erlanger Health System.
