About Christie Knapper
Experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing, public relations, and not for profit sectors. Skilled in Event Management, Team Building, Media Relations, Strategy Development, and Corporate Communications. My first experience in marketing came during my time at ImagePoint, a facilities branding company. While working as a Development Specialist at the American Heart Association I was able to work with a variety of companies and gain a better understanding of how companies differ in their views of what is of marketing value. It is here where I began to appreciate the value of understanding the customer in order to produce marketing results. As I transitioned to LBMC, I was able to hone in my marketing skills for professional services gaining experience with marketing tactics across the board – website management, social media, public relations, event planning, etc. I have always had a creative mind and I enjoy getting to know and understand others – why they feel the way they do and why they do the things they do. I enjoy the challenge of always having something new to learn and juggling multiple projects at once. My career journey naturally led to marketing and rightfully so, it has become my passion.
