I am a seasoned user experience and service designer focused on making social impact. I have also led a design team and mentored junior and intermediate designers. I intentionally seek to do work that aligns with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals, and so far I have worked on public services in the healthcare, sustainability, transportation, and education spaces, as well as with the federal, provincial and municipal levels of government.I am a strong advocate and lifelong learner in accessibility, inclusive design, equity-centered design, trauma-informed design, and design ethics - because I firmly believe these areas are the pillars for building solutions that respect human vulnerabilities, support fairness and justice, and most importantly, help people thrive.
