ABOUT CHRISTIE MCMULLEN

I am an experienced energy and utilities executive with a focus on gas and electric operations and process improvement. I currently serve as president and chief operating officer of Elizabethtown Gas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJI Utilities serving over natural gas customers in Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Sussex, Union and Warren counties. In this role, I oversee all aspects of the Elizabethtown Gas operations, including engineering, field operations, infrastructure replacement, new business construction, contact center operations and billing. I am also responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations, including promoting and ensuring safety, reliability, compliance, operational excellence and financial integrity.My sweet spot is in leading teams through transformational changes. I achieved my Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification earlier in my career and have leveraged the practices to deliver breakthrough results for numerous business problems/opportunities such as:• Merger integration and best practice implementation• Business transformation• Process improvement• Work management transformation• Infrastructure replacement program development I am dogmatic in my approach to process improvement and view mergers as an opportunity to identify and align best practices, resulting in financial savings and improved customer satisfaction, compliance, and safety.
