About Christie Johnson

Principal at Deloitte Consulting operating in the Government and Public Services practice. A seasoned professional with more than 19 years of consulting experience. During my tenure at Deloitte, I’ve had the great pleasure of serving my clients and being a Leader and mentor to thousands of practitioners and colleagues at Deloitte. Currently I am Deloitte’s Finance and Enterprise Performance Offering Leader through which I’ve been given the opportunity to bring new market offerings to current and prospective clients, create go-to-market strategies, manage offering investments, and help curate a desirable culture and talent experience for our practitioners. I’ve served as the Market Offering Leader for the Finance Strategy and Transformation team, the Talent and Inclusion Leader for the Defense, Security, and Justice sector, and the Lead Consulting Partner for multiple client accounts. I’m also extremely active in Deloitte\'s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, serving in multiple roles to foster equality across the firm.Outside of Deloitte initiatives, I also specialize in Chief Financial Officer (CFO) strategy work. I help CFOs improve their financial management organization, boost performance through informed strategic decision making and innovation, and lead an enterprise beyond the standard accounting and budget functions to meet their goals and success metrics. I also have experience leading projects for government clients addressing technological change, finance customer experience, outsourcing, ERP implementations, and operating model transitions. While I’m extremely proud of my career accomplishments at Deloitte, I’m most proud of being a mother to my two sons and a supportive wife to my husband in Washington, DC. A place near and dear to me is where I attended graduate school at George Washington University and received my M.S. in Management Information Systems. While I now call DC home, I can never forget my Ohio family at Miami University (go RedHawks) where I attended undergrad and am still very active in the alumni community.
