Oppia is an open-source project that aims to provide free and accessible education globally. As a member of the Acceptance Tests team, my responsibilities include- Spearheaded user acceptance testing initiatives for the Oppia Web application, creating test scripts to automate the testing process in CI workflows, ensuring functional requirements were met for over 2 million users worldwide- Fostered transparency by participating in bi-weekly meetings for progress tracking and issue resolution- Developed and facilitated 27 test scripts across 6 top-level test files using JavaScript, Python, Puppeteer, and HTML to catch bugs and regressions during new feature deployment- Reviewed and approved 5 out of 6 Pull Requests as the code owner of acceptance tests, encompassing 2,033 lines of code with 61 test scripts across 21 Critical User Journeys, upholding the quality of acceptance tests- Mentored developers through code reviews, feedback, and insights to enhance code quality and performance- Managed and resolved issues and bugs for Oppia Web Application on GitHub by contributing code changes using Git.
