About John Christiansen
This is my personal LinkedIn webpage. What I post here is my own opinion or otherwise about me, and not the view of my employer or any client. I have practiced law since 1985, with a combined emphasis on health care information technology/privacy and security and self-insured health plans since the early 1990s.(Yes, this makes sense!) After practicing in large law and consulting firms for many years I formed Christiansen IT Law in order to practice more flexibly and serve my clients more directly. In 2021 I joined long-term client Renalogic as EVP of Legal Risk and Strategy at Renalogic. I continue to maintain a small, curated legal practice and may consider matters including- Privacy and security compliance and risk management- Health benefits claims and appeals, health care provider networks- Information technology contracting and management- Confidential incident response support- Expert witness and expert litigation support in these areas.
