On a journey to building my career in the construction industry. I\'m a reliable hardworking professional with experience in construction, solar installation, and the military. My background includes preparing job sites, trenching, digging for grounding systems, installing solar modules, transporting and maintaining heavy vehicles, and working outdoors in demanding environments.In the Army National Guard, I developed strong discipline, teamwork, and technical skills as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic, where I performed preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and equipment transport. My time in construction and solar installation has given me practical field experience, from working with tools and site prep to troubleshooting and ensuring safety standards are met.I’m currently focused on growing my career in the construction industry, building new skills, and gaining valuable field experience. My long-term goal is to become a Heavy Equipment Operator, where I can combine my technical knowledge, field experience, and dedication to safety to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects.I take pride in being dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn, and I’m excited about opportunities to advance in the trades while making a positive impact in my community.

1. Park Maintenance Worker

   Greater Vallejo Recreation District

   Jul 2025 — Present

   Assist the full-time maintenance crew with park, facility, and building upkeep.• Maintain landscaping in District parks, grounds and buildings using a variety of hand and power tools; prune shrubs and trees; mow and edge lawns and fields as directed.• Digging trenches and holes around utilities to expose irrigation pipes and perform minor repairs.• Clean park grounds, buildings and facilities; clean restrooms, offices and empty trash receptacles; haul trash and debris as directed.• Prepare baseball/softball fields: drag infields, chalk lines, set bases, clean dugouts/bleachers.• Operate the park kiosk: collect parking fees, issue receipts, and balance cash deposits using established procedures.• Assist visitors by providing information and responding to inquiries or concerns.• Respond to sensitive situations, notify emergency personnel if necessary, and secure park at closing.• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance, including washing and detailing.• Operate hand and power tools safely, as well as motorized vehicles for park maintenance.• Work in varying conditions: outdoors, uneven terrain, and exposure to inclement weather.
