Cross-functional strategic and operational project management across various business units and departments within Lufthansa Airlines with a particular focus on aircraft maintenance at the hub in Munich. The role covers all project phases from planning through to successful implementation- Managing and monitoring of project plans and objectives with regard to schedule, budget, scope, and quality – always ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and aiming for high customer satisfaction- Leading and coordinating cross-functional strategic projects and interdisciplinary project teams throughout all project phases, including targeted project communication with various committees- Optimization of existing processes and development of innovative concepts, such as the introduction of electrically powered aircraft tugs (e-Movers), planning of new maintenance hangars with final assembly lines and enhancement of logistical supply chains in line with Lean Management principles- Development and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor flight operations, as well as presentation of results in management meetings- Establishing the infrastructural and organizational prerequisites for the introduction of the Airbus A380 aircraft type in Munich, including measures to ensure smooth operational readiness- Ensuring effective contract management in collaboration with internal and external partners, suppliers, and other stakeholder- Contributing to strategic workforce planning and the redesign of authorization systems and collective labor/bargaining agreements- Planning, budgeting, and cost control of new projects and investments, including profitability and risk analyses- Assumed personnel leadership responsibility for junior staff, including university graduates, interns, and working students, with a focus on structured onboarding, professional guidance, task delegation, and targeted support for their professional and personal development
