Introducing software solutions to speed up the analysis, modelling, and presentation of data to stakeholders using Python- Built Azure-hosted data pipelines with a user-friendly web interface in collaboration with our US team, increasing team throughput by 2-3 projects per week and enabling analysts to handle greater workloads with less manual processing- Automated catastrophe modeling workflows, reducing process from 30 manual steps to 2 user actions by building concurrent and asynchronous workflows using Azure Functions with Python to allow users to start/schedule tasks- Facilitated the duplication of our infrastructure to US VMs allowing us to query data from our data-centers in America, use local catastrophe analysis models, reduce latency for users in the US, and gain 5 new power users- Bridged knowledge gaps and reduced redundant research/tasks by maintaining documentation and diagrams, leading to faster development, faster onboarding of new teammates, and enabling us to easily present and explain our tools- Maintaining code quality through rigorous code reviews and staged deployments, resulting in fast, bug-free releases- Producing comprehensive risk statistical reports using Risk Modeler (RMS) and AIR to present to brokers and analysts, allowing them to make informed decisions on whether or not to pursue a client and provide insurance coverage.
