About Christian Hali
As an award winning Art Director, Designer, and Educator, I bring over a decade of creative production experience, user centered narrative solutions, strategic thinking, and innate relationship building abilities to every team, project, and course.From my earliest days at MTV story has been, and continues to be, a foundation of my professional design successes. My production experience at Nickelodeon, Disney, and Daniel Ostroff Productions honed my ability to iterate designs while balancing the differing stakeholder perspectives of producers, executives, researchers, and viewers. My collegial team building nature, proven mentor management style, and successful hiring strategies as cited in David B. Levy’s book: Animation Development from Pitch to Production, have proven particularly transferable and well-suited to both user-focused design and student centric teaching. I am at my best when working in an interdisciplinary team environment that embraces blue-sky thinking, and strategic ideation as a means to tangible innovative solutions. I believe effective design, art direction, narratives, and instruction all owe a debt to the hidden art of reducing the cognitive load of the viewer, user and student.
