As one of four national regional representatives to the AAMC\'s National Committee on Admissions (COA), I represent the Central Region, which includes 12 U.S. states, 2 Canadian provinces, and 38 medical schools. I stay attuned to admissions issues specific to this region, bringing them to COA for discussion and sharing relevant updates with Central Region representatives.In this capacity, I participate in all Group on Student Affairs (GSA)-COA meetings, conference calls, community calls, and leadership workshops. Additionally, my role involves contributing to scholarly projects focused on admissions within COA.
