I review microscopy slides of patients with neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the Head and Neck region. Tissue samples of tumor patients are presented weekly in a Head and Neck Tumor Board, with attendance by medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology and Head and Neck surgery to optimize patient care. I am part of a team of surgical pathologists with diverse subspecialty expertise that addresses diagnostic problems of patients with non-neoplastic disease. These diseases include infections and autoimmune disorders.
