Currently I am tinkering with AI-powered investment strategies to (hopefully) outperform the market and challenge the status quo of the Asset Management industry. https://prettymodels.aiMoreover, I am a Senior Quantitative Researcher and Quantitative Developer (and Product Owner 🦸 and Interim-Product Manager 🤵) at a Munich-based FinTech in the private equity industry.I develop and implement stochastic and statistical models that provide advanced analytics for private equity funds like risk, benchmarking, forecasting, program planning and stress testing.I am involved throughout the complete product development process from initial planning, over prototyping to the final software implementation.I also help to communicate the final product to potential and existing clients.In my job and academic research, I newly develop and apply advanced econometric models and also machine learning methods like ensemble learning.I usually program my models in Python (and very little C++). I prefer R for explorative data analysis and for academic research.I additionally have the skillset of a typical Python Backend Programmer to support continuous software development with tools like Pycharm, Jira, Git, Docker, SQL Jenkins, FastAPI, Kubernetes, DigitalOcean, pipeline jobs, etc.Moreover, I am currently a Ph.D candidate at Augsburg University and hopefully will finish my Mathematical Finance Ph.D. soon-ish.
