About Christian Steinborn

In 2019, I finished my Master of Science in Psychology in Germany and life took me to New York City right after. Psychology has always been my passion and I am so happy that I was able to study it. My main focus within psychology is Applied and Organizational Psychology; HR. I feel most alive when standing in front of crowds. From a young age on, I have been used to being on stage; my love for theater started when I was 11 and I joined a local theater club in Germany. I took on many roles there and in 2015 I ended up being the president of that very theater club, learning what it means to produce and budget shows, and most importantly, to lead a community. During my college years, I worked part-time for companies, gaining experience in what I want to do professionally. My jobs centered around being an instructor of some sort. I had the priviledge to help unemployed clients to get back onto the job market. I mentored them, helped them step-by-step, from setting up their CV, applications, and I also trained them for job interviews in simulation trainings. Another amazing opportunity that I had was becoming a certified trainer for stress reduction. Working at the German FYB Academy, I became the leader of their online stress reduction programs for English speakers. And that leads me to my third love: languages. I speak German and English fluently, and have an intermediate level in Spanish, French, and Italian. I\'ve lived in the United States, in Germany and in Italy and feel very much like a citizen of the world.
