Mein Herz schlägt für den Sport und all seine Emotionen. Und dafür, die traditionelle Fußballkultur mit digitalen Innovationen zu verschmelzen. Denn nur wenn das gelingt, wird Fußball „Made in Germany“ auch in Zukunft Millionen von Fans in aller Welt begeistern. Als Direktor Digital & Innovation des VfB Stuttgart entwickle ich eine leistungsstarke Digital-Infrastruktur, die Fans in den Mittelpunkt stellt und den langfristigen wirtschaftlichen Erfolg unseres Clubs sichert. Neue Technologien wie Künstliche Intelligenz (KI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain und virtuelle, erweiterte und gemischte Realität (VR/AR/MR) testen wir laufend, um das Potenzial für unsere Fans zu nutzen und den VfB Stuttgart als Innovationstreiber in der Fußball-Bundesliga zu positionieren. Als Vater von drei Kindern bin ich überzeugt: Die Aufmerksamkeit, die wir als einer der traditionsreichsten Fußballclubs in Deutschlands erzeugen, ist auch eine Verpflichtung – Vorbild zu sein und Werte zu vermitteln. Deshalb liegt mir die VfB Bildungsakademie besonders am Herzen. Hier stehen die Vermittlung von Wissen, Werten und Führung sowie die Förderung von Nachhaltigkeit, Diversität und Frauen im Sport klar im Fokus. My heart beats for sport and all its emotions. As Director Digital & Innovation at VfB Stuttgart, I am developing a high-performance digital infrastructure that puts fans at the center and ensures the long-term economic success of our club. We are constantly testing new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain and virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (VR/AR/MR) to utilize their potential for our fans and position VfB Stuttgart as a driver of innovation in the Bundesliga. As a father of three children, I am convinced that the attention we generate as one of the most traditional football clubs in Germany is also an obligation: to be a role model and convey values. That\'s why the VfB Bildungsakademie is particularly close to my heart. The focus here is clearly on imparting knowledge, values, and leadership and promoting sustainability, diversity, and women in sport.
