The Communications Services Specialist (CSS) is responsible for all internet revenue generating programs onboard for both guests and crew and ensures the efficient and optimal day to day operation of the internet services. This includes sales, service, marketing, first level support, reporting, administration and printing facilities.As the Communications Service Specialist aboard one of the Royal Caribbean\'s ships, I am entrusted with the comprehensive management and optimization of VOOM, the fastest internet service at sea. My role focuses on ensuring seamless connectivity for both guests and crew, resolving technical issues, and overseeing the performance of onboard internet systems.I work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of internet service, provide technical support, and implement system enhancements to ensure reliability and speed. In addition, I am responsible for training crew members on VOOM usage and collaborating with cruise directors to ensure a smooth and efficient digital experience for all guests.With a strong focus on problem-solving, technical expertise, and operational efficiency, I contribute to maintaining VOOM’s reputation as a top-tier service and enhancing guest satisfaction throughout their journey.
