Christian Polivka is a Director in EY\'s Technology Consulting practice in Germany. He is responsible for the SAP Sustainability Alliance in Germany and focuses on driving the SAP Sustainability Data & Tech go-to-market at the EMEIA level.Before joining EY, Christian spent 19 years at SAP, where he most recently held a senior role in Sustainability Solution Management, focusing on SAP Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and ESG reporting solutions. In this role, he was responsible for shaping the overall solution vision and supporting the go-to-market strategy. During his extensive tenure at SAP, Christian held a variety of high-impact roles in consulting, pre-sales, and business development. Prior to his career at SAP, he worked for an EHS consulting firm, where he gained first-hand insight into the day-to-day environmental and safety challenges faced by manufacturing companies. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for using software to empower sustainability professionals.With nearly three decades of EHS/Sustainability experience, Christian is dedicated to driving corporate sustainability transformation and innovation that empowers sustainability practitioners. He holds an MBA from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cooperative Education in Karlsruhe.
