ABOUT CHRISTIAN PELLICCI
Always fascinated by the tech world, I undertook high-school studies in science. Then I approached the economy field, getting first a Bachelor in Business Administration, which allowed me to build strong foundations for my Master\'s Degree in the management field, strongly oriented towards the knowledge economy, growth, and innovation.I started to work remotely for Appen, a leader company in the Data Collection and Training field. This experience allowed me to approach the Big Data Analytics field, stimulating my interest in this area.Meanwhile, I undertook different courses issued by Cisco, Bond University, and Griffith University, which allowed me to understand the potentialities of Data Sciences, leading me to wonder how this can improve business management, offering valuable insights to make informed decisions that led to improved performances and growth.As required by my Master\'s Degree program, I did an internship in an accounting firm, facing real-life business problems, and looking for optimized solutions with the accounting team.The output of this path has been my Master\'s Degree thesis, titled:\"Disruptive Innovation: How Google has built its success using Big Data Analytics\", an experimental research work, in which I empirically demonstrated how a good mastery of the Data Sciences could represent a competitive advantage for companies which detain it, paying particular attention to Google as a case study.Then, understanding the potentialities of the Data Science as Instrument for the growth I decided to deepen my knowledge of this topic joining to the Master in Data Science of the Bologna Business School; this new study path is allowing me to merge my management and innovation skills with the more practical and complementary data sciencing skills, obtaining, this way, the knowledge base on which I\'m determined to build my career.
