Oversee Santa Barbara County Child Care Planning Council (CCPC), mandated through Welfare and Institutions code and overseen by Santa Barbara County Education Office and Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors. This forum is comprised of community partners who support planning and actions to promote a quality education system that meets the needs of all children and families ages birth to age 12. CCPC leads within the community to implement new initiatives, connect with and build upon existing local collaboratives, and provide a unified, integrated system of accessible and affordable education for children and families.Manage multiple local, state, and federal grants which fund advocacy, outreach, and education for early childhood educators. Manage a team to plan and develop 70+ professional development opportunities per fiscal year.Act as a liaison between community partners such as city and county government offices, Early Childhood programs, and local higher education programs.
