Oversee the control environment for Barclays\' US Intermediate Holding Company (IHC), with the goal of mitigating existing risks and identifying emerging risks to ensure the firm’s business needs and regulatory requirements are met, and the interests of the firm’s clients, customers, and shareholders are protected. • Co-lead and support the IHC’s controls agenda, ensuring risk mitigation obligations under Barclays’ Enterprise Risk Management Framework are met. Serve as a first point of contact for day-to-day IHC controls matters.• Regularly collaborate with the Americas management team on all aspects of IHC-related controls reporting, including, but not limited to, the quarterly Controls Update to the IHC Board Audit Committee, the annual IHC Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), the quarterly IHC Control Environment and Risk Profile Assessment (CERPA), and the quarterly IHC Conduct Risk Dashboard.• Non-voting member, US Controls Committee (Secretariat). Ensure the US Controls Committee operates in compliance with the standards and policies stipulated by the Barclays Controls Framework.• Supervise the end-to-end production of meeting materials for the monthly US Controls Committee. Membership includes the Americas CEO, the US Executive Committee, and business & functional control leads.
