Consultant in General, HPB & Laparoscopic Surgery at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. I have an interest in surgery for benign and malignant HPB disorders, gallbladder surgery, laparoscopic bile duct exploration and laparoscopic hernia surgery. I graduated from the University of Manchester with Honours in and completed my Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2008. I became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2011 and started my Consultant career in 2013 in Nottingham. I spent over 4 years as a Consultant Pancreatico-Biliary & Laparoscopic Surgeon at St James\'s University Hospital in Leeds before returning to Manchester to take up a position at Manchester Royal Infirmary.Have a passion for Medical Education and enjoy training the doctors of tomorrow. Am involved in change management projects in my organisation to help shape the NHS of the future. This is an exciting time for me!Out of the workplace I enjoy cooking, travel, fine wine and racket sports. Have recently rekindled my enjoyment of golf and hope to improve my handicap.
