I am the Co-Executive Director of MATS Research, Inc. We run the ML Alignment & Theory Scholars Program (MATS).We find and mentor/train talented individuals for what we see as the world’s most urgent and talent-constrained problem: reducing risks from unaligned artificial intelligence. We provide mentorship from leading alignment researchers, as well as training and logistics support to aid in this mission. We also connect our scholars with financial support to ensure their financial security.
