ABOUT CHRISTIAN HIRSCHBOECK
I am a member of Lake Forest College’s class of ‘25 with a major in communications and minors in journalism and legal studies. I am extremely passionate about helping support the growth of sports in the United States through media, public relations, and communications work. During my time at Lake Forest College, I served in a variety of roles, with my most prominent being the college newspaper\'s editor-in-chief and sports editor. For outside writing experiences, I have previously written for MenInRed97 and VavelMLS as a staff writer. I most recently interned for the United Soccer League as a communications intern. Prior to my time with the USL League Office, I also interned for River Light FC, Which is a USL 2 and W League team in Aurora, IL, as a journalism and public relations intern. Additionally, I interned at ICAway.com as a marketing communications intern. While soccer is my primary passion, I have at minimum a broad interest in all sports at the professional and semi-professional level. I am currently seeking full-time roles in sports communications, sports journalism, public relations, and social media, as well as other positions categorized under that umbrella with a targeted start date of January 2025.
