ABOUT CHRISTIAN HENNEL
I am currently a Consultant within the Gallagher Institutional Investment Consulting team. I am responsible for developing strategies and providing investment advice to DB, DC, and E&F clients with an average asset base of ~$2B. I assist with liability-driven investment (LDI) portfolio management, lead the team responsible for generating expected return on assets (EROA) projections, and am a member of the team that generates the firm-wide capital market assumptions. I specialize in comprehensive investment analysis across various asset classes leveraging top-down analysis, stochastic modeling, and measuring client risk/return objectives. Prior to joining Gallagher, I served as a commercial banking analyst where I actively managed a $40M fixed income investment portfolio, monitored liquidity and regulatory capital levels, and modeled balance sheet interest rate risk. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. I have also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
